After opening for business in April of 2006, Prairie Chicks Quilting, Scrapbooking and Country Gifts is going strong.

Prairie Chicks is a one of a kind shop located, in the town of Hague, SK, in the beautiful Sask. Valley.  The inviting country theme of the store welcomes customers to the renovated, old, 1950's post office.  The huge selection of product overwhelms the crafter as they walk in.

The Quilting section supplies you with over 2000 choices of 100% cotton fabrics, many colors of embroidery floss, buttons and Mettler thread.  Of course the selection of other sewing notions, quilt batting and patterns is great as well.  Many quilts hang on the walls for inspiration.  For those who need a little extra inspiration, pre-cut kits are available.  Product is available from popular designers such as Kansas Troubles, April Cornell, Kathy Schmitz, Sandy Gervais, Buggy Barn, Thimbleberries, and Fig Tree,  just to name a few.  Prairie Chicks favorite fabrics are from Moda.

The scrapbooking section  of the shop is just as exciting.  There are hundreds of different 12"x12" papers to choose from.  Solid cardstock, patterned, metallics, and vellum are a few of the choices.  Prairie Chicks has all of the popular designer lines to offer such as My Mind's Eye, SEI, Chatterbox, Making Memories, Pioneer, Prima, Karen Foster, BoBunny, Gel-a-Tins and so much more.  Stickers, rub-ons, rubber stamps, ink, chipboard, brads, eyelets, fibers and other great embellishments line the walls, and every other available space, to give you the best selection possible.  Finished cards and scrapbook pages are hung as samples to give you some ideas in using all the products offered. 

Country gifts are also part of the extensive selection of product.  Country Affair scented candles are a big seller at Prairie Chicks as they make a great gift.
